UNYA Germany – MaMUN 2013

MaMUN 2013Following the great success of the last edition, Model United Nations Mannheim e.V. announces the 4th session of MaMUN. MaMUN 2013 will take place from 12 (Friday) to 14 April (Sunday) 2013 at the University of Mannheim, Germany, which is located in the city’s Baroque palace.

About 120 delegates from Europe and all over the world will get the opportunity to conduct work on the following topics which promise thrilling debates and heated discussions:

– Security Council: Water Scarcity and its Relation to Conflict

– ECOSOC: The Situation in Afghanistan after the Withdrawal of Foreign Troops

– Human Rights Council: Securing the Rights of Indigenous People

– The League of Arab States: Reform of the Charter of the Arab League

In return for the delegate fee of €25, the participants will be provided with food and drinks on Saturday and Sunday as well as access to all social events and a welcome bag. Mannheim’s MUN society will organize couchsurfing and try to find other forms of accommodation for the participating delegates and delegations.
