Description

A lack of public relations skills was identified as an acute problem within several UNYANET member associations, which inspired us to create a project for organizing a public relations training in a form of an international workshop. The aim of the Public Relations Workshop is to offer each UNYANET member organization a basic set of public relations skills in order to create visible and strong UNYAs capable of promoting themselves, UNYANET and the UN.

Natassa Petra, Slovenia
Anastasia PetraI am studying International Relations at the University of Political and Social Sciences of Ljubljana. I am a member of the UNA Slovenia Youth Section. I am particularly interested in topics related to human rights and the Balkan area. Moreover, I am interested in the issues of the moral development and character education of children. I like travelling, cooking and attending Film Retrospectives in Ljubljana.

Tjalke Weber, Germany
I am studying German-Italian Studies, a binational programme at the Universities of Bonn (Germany) and Florence (Italy), where I am currently spending my third year. Since I participated in a MUN conference for the first time in 2006, I have been fascinated by the idea to introduce the UN to young people by simulations like MUN. That is the reason why I have been involved within different MUN conferences. In summer 2009 I joined UNYA Germany and I am serving there as a spokesperson right now. In my free time I enjoy seeing friends, reading, travelling and doing some sports.
