Our main event is the Annual Conference where we try to bring students closer to the diplomatic and political world. We seek to promote the UN values in order to achieve a greater peace. UNYA Switzerland – GIMUN Chair Application

GIMUN is looking for six Chairpersons to moderate their committees in the annual conference. Chairpersons are in charge of the quality of content at the annual conference. Before the annual conference, they must choose the subjects to be discussed in the committees and write study guides in collaboration with their Liaison Officers. The Chairperson must help the delegates prepare themselves effectively for the conference. During the conference itself, the Chairpersons moderate debates, encourage a working atmosphere and verify the progress of resolution-writing. Chairpersons are supervised by Under-Secretary General of Committee Management. The role of Chairperson requires someone with leadership and organization skills, and equally demands sufficient knowledge in the selected subjects to guarantee quality debates.

Information about the application can be found here. For information, please contact GIMUN.
