Outcomes of the UNYANET General Assembly 2015
This is the proof: Young people are interested in politics and global affairs. At least within the United Nations Youth Associations Network (UNYANET), which has just formed its new team. With 11 board members and several volunteers, this is the largest team UNYANET ever had.
From 10-12 September 2015, the UNYANET General Assembly 2015 took place in Bucharest, Romania. Delegates from nine countries were welcomed by UN Youth Romania, who generously hosted the event and delved into Romanian culture with the participants. UN Youth Association of Romania comes forward with the proposal of combining learning, socializing and having fun in one of the most exciting capitals of Europe: Bucharest! From 25 to 31 July, UNYA Romania organizes a Summer School focused on “New Perspectives on Diplomacy”. The participants will have the opportunity to meet worldwide known diplomats and learn about this field in Romania’s top administrative and academic institutions.
Application for this educational and multi-cultural experience is now open at the “Registration” section of UNYA Romania website until 15 June.
Timisoara transforms into New York for 3 days!
The capital of the Western part of Romania will again be the host of Banat Model United Nations, now reaching it’s third edition. The conference will take place 26-28 April 2013 at West University of Timisoara, and the deadline for application is 14 April 2013.
The Bucharest International Student Model United Nations 2013 Conference will take place at the Palace of Parliament, in Bucharest, Romania, from 20 to 25 March 2013 bringing together approximately 230 participants both from Romania and abroad. The theme of the conference will be “Reshaping diplomacy in a world of continuous change” chosen because of the importance of diplomacy in the social, economic and political development of the 21st century.
The UN Youth Association of Romania is proud to present “UN Youth Moot Courts 2012 – Justice on international level!”, a project of which the main focus is the simulation of juridical procedure in front of four main courts: International Court of Justice, The European Court of Human Rights, The Court of Justice of the European Union and The International Criminal Court. This event, which will take place on December 7-9 2012 at the Bucharest Court of Appeal, represents one of the most important activities enrolled by the association and has the objective of giving the participants the chance of putting in practice their knowledge of international law, EU law and human rights law.
