From November 2012 until April 2013, the headquarters of the UNA Slovenian Youth Section are hosting an exhibition of the Slovenian School Museum “School – the key to development: students of Angola, Malawi and Ghana”. UNA Slovenia Youth Section combined putting up this exhibition with organizing three travelogue lectures between November 2012 and January 2013. Lectures enabled authors of the exhibition from the Slovenian School Museum to share their experiences with the visitors.
The lecturers worked in Angola, Ghana and Malawi respectively and performed voluntary jobs related to children and the educational system of these three countries. In November, Ms. Polona Koželj presented her experience in Malawi and Mr. Tomaž Gorenc his trip to Angola, while Ms. Tina Palaić took the audience to Ghana in January. All the authors picturesquely presented their trips, political systems and histories of their destinations. As they worked voluntarily in the field of education, they emphasized educational system and their experience of teaching. Travelogue lectures were accompanied with interesting adventures, pictures and items from the trips.
